Don Redwood - Artist

I qualified as a Graphic Designer at Nottingham College of Art in the 60's. After graduating I moved to Edinburgh  and then to London, working in studios and agencies, producing posters, illustrations and general publicity design.

I moved to Cornwall in the 70's. During the next few years I persued many art and craft ventures before turning to my old interest of painting. Water colour was my first choice as a medium to interpret the landscape, for the beauty in its soft diffusion of colour, atmospheric and accidental effects, which I feel enables me to express my interpretation of the unfettered corners of the Cornish scene.

I sell through galleries and exhibitions in the Southwest.
